RiftForged is Monster Hunter meets Minecraft in a 3D fully physics-driven MMO world. Rip the building blocks for materials from monsters to craft bespoke player-stamped gear, shape your build, and Ascend via the Ascension Tree.
Engineered from the metal up, RiftForged does not use commercial pre-built engines. The game runs on a custom C++ and DirectX 11 architecture designed specifically for massive multiplayer loads. Featuring proprietary server-authoritative netcode and distributed physics, we guarantee that if a strike connects on your screen, it registers on the server.

Server-Authoritative Engine
The engine is actively rendering data-driven mob logic, health UIs, and synchronized combat positioning. What you see is exactly what the server dictates.
Deep Progression Systems
Under the hood, our custom modular architecture is already handling dynamic character stat calculations, inventory management, and the node-based Ascension Tree.
Live Alpha Technical Test
The servers are currently live for open technical testing.
This is a bare-metal stress test of the custom Dx11 renderer and server-authoritative netcode. Expect bugs, zero persistence, and no resolution scaling yet. We are testing animation syncs and world collision—let me know if you manage to push through a wall or the floor.

The standalone launcher is prepared and will eventually require your riftforged.org account, but for this specific technical test, download the client directly via itch.io:
